The Gaffer-Grip is responsible for the lighting setup and implementation. Works directly with the cinematographer to provide the lights and electricity needed for all project set-ups.
Primary Duties:
- Has strong working knowledge of lighting equipment and gear.
- Determines both creative and practical lighting needs.
- Oversees the budget for lighting and electrical considerations and obtains needed equipment.
- Responsible for getting electricity to all departments that require it.
- Responsible for set and personnel safety.
Details:
- Contract work (1099) per project
Candidates must be:
- An active Christ-follower
- Passionate for world-missions
- Positive disposition
- Able to think outside of the box
- Coachable/flexible
- Self-motivated – Able to work independently
- Proficient with tech/web
- Fluent in English – other languages a plus
