Responsible for designing, setting up, rigging, and striking lighting equipment on set. Locate and utilize practical and natural light sources. Responsible for keeping equipment organized, and sometimes equipment maintenance.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the production team to determine lighting solutions
- Provide practical and creative input to scene planning
- Select, assemble, and position equipment
- Make sure needed electricity is available and batteries are changed
- Resolve technical or practical issues
Requirements
- Current Passport and the ability to travel internationally
- Proven experience as Key Grip
- Experience operating company lighting equipment
- Ability to understand and follow direction
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to think and act quickly
- A team player
- Attention to detail
- Physical strength to carry heavy equipment and stamina
- Excellent color vision and hearing
- High school diploma; degree in film, media or relevant field is a plus
